Register Psychotherapist & Art Therapist

She/Her

Hi, I’m Michelle! I’m a passionate and devoted Registered Psychotherapist, Canadian Certified Counsellor, and Art Therapist offering virtual therapy for young adults and adults across Ontario. I know that opening up to someone new can feel daunting, so I’d love to share a little bit about myself and the approach I bring to therapy.

From a young age, I found myself being the friend people turned to when they needed someone to listen. Holding space for others, showing up with compassion, and truly seeing people in their experiences has always been a core part of who I am — and something I feel deeply honoured to continue in my professional work.

I completed my Bachelor of Arts at the University of Guelph with a double major in Psychology and Studio Art, where I first began exploring the connection between creativity and healing. This led me to pursue a Master of Arts in Creative Arts Therapies at Concordia University, specializing in Art Therapy. Over time, I expanded my practice to focus on talk therapy, integrating creativity with evidence-based approaches.

Today, I work with adults navigating attachment and relationship challenges, perinatal mental health, grief and loss, anxiety, and depression. My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. I draw from psychodynamic and attachment-based perspectives, trauma-informed care, CBT, and narrative therapy. I believe therapy works best when it’s a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel seen and supported — and where moments of lightness and humour can emerge when the time feels right.

My goal is to walk alongside you as you explore your story, recognize patterns that may no longer serve you, and move toward meaningful change at your own pace.

Outside of my work, I love exploring small towns, spending time in nature, and sharing meals with family and friends. I’m also a proud cat mama and a lifelong artist — often found painting with watercolours, wood burning, or building furniture.
