I know that opening up to someone new takes courage. My hope is that from the moment you arrive here, you feel a little less alone and a little more understood.

Why I became a therapist

MY STORY

From a young age, I found myself being the person others turned to when they needed someone to truly listen. Holding space with compassion — really seeing people in their experiences — has always been a core part of who I am. Becoming a therapist wasn't a career choice so much as it was a calling.

I completed my Bachelor of Arts at the University of Guelph with a double major in Psychology and Studio Art, where I first began exploring the connection between creativity and emotional healing. That curiosity led me to pursue a Master of Arts in Creative Arts Therapies at Concordia University, specializing in Art Therapy. Over time, I expanded my practice to integrate talk therapy with creative approaches, grounded in evidence-based methods.

Today, I specialize in perinatal mental health, grief and loss, anxiety, and relationship challenges — areas where I've seen how much the right support can change someone's experience of a profoundly difficult season of life. I feel deeply honoured to walk alongside people in those moments.

My therapeutic approach

HOW I WORK

My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuinely safe, non-judgmental space — where you feel seen, supported, and where moments of lightness can also emerge when the time feels right.

Therapy with me is not about pushing through or "fixing" yourself. It's about understanding what you're carrying, recognizing patterns that may no longer serve you, and moving toward meaningful change at your own pace.

Types of Therapy

  • A living room scene with a light gray sofa with a black and white patterned cushion, beside a small white side table with a black and white book, and a white adjustable desk lamp, all against a plain, light-colored wall and dark wood flooring.

    Psychotherapy

Talk therapy tailored to your needs and goals. I draw from multiple evidence-based approaches — psychodynamic, narrative, solution-focused, and trauma-informed — always centred on what works best for you. Sessions are collaborative, paced by you, and grounded in emotional safety.

  • A view through a window showing a peaceful landscape with hills, trees, and a body of water, from inside a room with a desk and potted plants.

    Art Therapy

A combination of psychotherapy and creative expression, art therapy is particularly useful when words feel limiting or hard to find. You don't need any artistic ability — just a willingness to explore. Together we use creative making as a doorway into thoughts and feelings that might otherwise stay out of reach.

A little About me

Artist's watercolor paint set, sketchbook, and art supplies on a dark wooden table. There is also a potted plant, a black pencil case, and a white mug.

Outside of my work, you'll find me exploring small Ontario towns, spending time in nature, and sharing long meals with family and friends. I'm a proud cat mama and a lifelong artist — often found painting with watercolours, wood burning, or building furniture.

I am:

  • An artist at heart

  • Nature lover
